Wipro and Motorola Combine for an IT Outsourcing Deal

Motorola and Wipro Technologies recently signed a joint IT outsourcing venture dubbed as the WMNetServ. The newly-signed venture would deal with outsourcing different Telecommunication services.
Global Network Operation Center (GNOC), WMNet Serv's outsourcing leg would be based in India. According to a statement released by Motorola, the Indian-based firm would be able to manage different services like planning, deployment, optimization, security and other services, 24 hours a day. CNOC would also be in charge of operating Motorola's national operation centers located in North America and Europe.
The newly-established outsourcing deal is part of the goals by both firms to establish outsourcing operations in India. Wipro CEO Azim Premji, the CEO for Wipro remarked that their outsourcing deals with India is to show that the country has much to offer than available workers.
