Outsourcing Issues
by Gary Zeiss, Esq. on September 18, 2008
Although falling off of the front pages of the U.S. media, one of the things that worries me most with regard to offshoring is the recent instability of Pakistan and the threat that it poses to offshoring in India. Certainly, when combined with the recent terrorist activity in Delhi, positioning infrastructure-heavy work in the subcontinent may prove challenging.
Economic stability leads to investment and growth - in all markets. However, when one combines the U.S.'s newfound risk-intolerance arising from the financial crisis with geopolitical instability in the region, 2009 could prove to be a very challenging year.
