Vertex Financial Services, the BPO arm of United Utilities, has won a five-year, £45 million mortgage outsourcing contract with Deutsche Bank (DB). Under the agreement, Vertex will provide outsourced mortgage services to specialist lender DB mortgages.

According to the United, this contract supports Deutsche Bank's foray into the UK intermediary mortgage market, and builds on Vertex's presence in the mortgage outsourced services sector.

John Roberts, CEO of United Utilities, said, "This contract with Deutsche Bank, which is our largest mortgage outsourcing deal to date, demonstrates Vertex's capability to exploit the substantial outsourcing opportunities in the financial services market."
