UK: Top Outsourcing Country
Based on the research report done by Forrester Research, the number of British companies adapting IT outsourcing is larger as compared to other countries in Europe.
The research firm also mentioned that British companies contributed a lot in terms of signing outsourcing deals for this quarter. Here is an excerpt of the said report:
UK companies contributed 36 of the 84 deals signed in the second quarter of this year. The combined value of the deals was £3.8 billion, up by £1 billion on the same period in 2006, when 65 outsourcing projects took place.
Does that tell you something? Well, personally I see it that most British companies do gain a lot from outsourcing hence the increased outsourcing deal. I just hope that this momentum would last for these UK companies as well as for their outsourcing providers.
