Trends in the Outsourcing Industry
If you would observe the different press releases released everyday, you would observe that the number of outsourcing contracts and negotiations have gone down. The reason for such situation is not because of outsourcing proving that it was only a "fad" rather it is a proof that outsourcing is slowly changing into a more strategic way.

You might wonder what made me feel inclined to have this view towards outsourcing. Apparently, Michael Rehkopf also expressed the same idea and also shared three noticeable trends in the outsourcing industry.

3 Trends in the Outsourcing Industry
1. The strengthening of sourcing solutions which covers a wide range of risk and control parameters.
2. Shorter duration of outsourcing contracts and lowering of TCV (Total Contract Value) in outsourcing deals.
3. Expiration of outsourcing contracts

These trends are the ones responsible for shaping the future of outsourcing and hopefully, it would lead to a better and much improved outsourcing industry.
