Trend Num. 4: "Green" Outsourcing

Being conscious about the environment is everywhere and yes, it is also applicable in outsourcing.

Most companies would prefer vendors that are environment-friendly as opposed to a company that does not consider the environment in their business. This was the conclusion generated by the report done by Greenpeace. The report also mentioned stating that "Environmental footprint and energy-efficiency will increasingly be a factor in the selection of technology suppliers and partners."

This is a good trend that should be present in outsourcing all year round. Gone are the days wherein environment would be cast aside in favor of other business factors.
