Traditional Outsourcing No More

approach in outsourcing is something which could be termed as "fading away" due to the emergence of different outsourcing trends. In my previous posts, I already mentioned the growing KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) which deals with "core tasks" in a company. Though this could be described as a growing trend, different issues like security and other issues are still present in this type of outsourcing. This is the reason why companies are taking on a new approach with this outsourcing type.
One way to deal with this type of outsourcing is to manage the important processes for KPO which is far from the traditional approach in outsourcing wherein everything is left to the outsourcing provider. Through this kind of approach, companies would have a semblance of control regarding their outsourcing deals.
I think that one of the reasons why this approach is getting popular is because of the sensitive data or information related to KPO.
