As time passes by, some reasons for outsourcing would still remain and in some cases, reasons would just add up as more and more companies are seeing practical reasons on why companies outsource.
The research study which I am focusing on yesterday also tackled the reasons why most companies outsource. Some of the reasons here could be found in any other list in reasons for outsourcing. Though that is the case, there are still reasons which are additional ones.
Here is a breakdown of these reasons:
44% - Reduce or control cost
34% - Gain access to IT resources unavailable internally
31% - Free up internal resources
28% - Improve business or customer focus
22% - Accelerate company reorganization/transformation
15% - Accelerate project
15% - Gain access to management expertise
9% - Reduce time to market
