Outsourcing Issues
by Carol Kendrick on September 21, 2006

Dr. Wing Lam recently mentioned in his article entitled Outsourcing: Strategic advantage or disadvantage? that the cracks in outsourcing is starting to show and it is not a pretty sight. The reason why many outsourcing deals are showing "cracks" so to speak is because of their one-sided way of dealing with outsourcing deals. This means that all they aim for is the cost-saving goal that they want.
Many of these companies do not realize that there are risks involve in every outsourcing transaction despite claims that these are "risk-free". The only way to deal with these risks is to minimize them as much as possible and preparing for unforeseen circumstances.

Outsourcing has both it's advantages as well as disadvantages. If you wish to outsource your work to a company, you can minimize the disadvantages by choosing the right company to outsource by doing proper research on that company and outsourcing in general.
