The Analysts' View on Outsourcing
We are used on talking about the results of studies regarding outsourcing. I think that it is time to talk about the viewpoint of analysts regarding outsourcing in general.

Kurt Potter and Allie Young reveals their insights with regards to outsourcing and the trends shown by the latest Gartner report in outsourcing. Here are some of their interesting insights:

Kurt Potter: Customers are no longer looking for just a technology fix--they want to include the outsourcing vendor to solve business problems, whether it's in the business process, the application layer, or the infrastructure layer. That's the expectation now.

allie Young: We're seeing that outsourcing vendors want to deliver more of these services with a globally consistent delivery model. But that brings with it an inherent conundrum: Outsourcing has an unlimited ability to deliver cost savings, yet customers want a customized environment and don't want to be part of utility service models.

Their insights are rather important especially when taking note of the changes in outsourcing. If you are one of those people who follows the changes in the outsourcing industry, you should take note of their opinions.
