More and more companies are now into storage outsourcing.

This was the result revealed by a recent research study done by TheInfoPro. The research study showed that at least 1000 companies are practicing storage outsourcing for their storage management tasks.

One of the most common storage outsourcing task which companies practice is e-mail archiving. Based on the research, 42% of the companies are now practicing e-mail archiving while 32% have archiving in their agenda and 6% of the companies are evaluating such practice.

As I could see it, most companies now prefer to outsource their e-mail activities to outsourcing vendors because it leaves them more time to pursue much more important activities.
