Statistics on Outsourcing
What better way to describe outsourcing but through statistics?

If you would notice, outsourcing reports are saying different things. Some reports would say that outsourcing is slowing down while on the other hand, some outsourcing reports are forecasting a better and brighter future for outsourcing. One example of such research study is Strategic Evolution.

Here are some of the significant results of the research study:

89% revealed their plans to maintain their outsourcing transactions

47% of the respondents remarked that outsourcing opened new doors for experience to them

42% believed that outsourcing improved their financial performance

27% remarked that competitiveness was greatly improved by outsourcing

60% of customers (companies) and 59% of outsourcing providers share their beliefs that outsourcing problems is dependent on the people involved in the project.

The results were based on the survey responses from 650 organizations in 32 countries. I think that the statistics and facts shown in the study is a great reflection of the real outsourcing industry. How about you, do you believe in the results indicated in the study?
