Standard Checking in Outsourcing
Filed in archive Best Practice by Carol Kendrick on September 09, 2007

Checking the quality of your outsourced projects as well as making sure that the company is getting the outsourcing work that they want. Ensuring that you are getting this service is necessary for companies hence the need for standard checking.
Having a guideline would be very helpful in this situation because all the necessary factors which should be considered are already there and all you need to do is to verify if they would meet the standard set. One worthy example of such guideline includes the following:
-Have you identified the key product safety risks when you outsource?
-Do safety and production standards meet U.S. norms?
-Do you have a reputable testing laboratory in the United States that regularly monitors your product?
-Dicey products are half the story. Unsavory practices are Part Two.
-Just because some biggie in your industry trusts a resource, it's no automatic stamp of approval.
Do you have anything that you want to add?
