It seems like India might be facing one tough competition and No, it ain't China.
The latest research done by Datamonitor revealed a new kind of competition for India: South Africa. Here is an excerpt in the said research:
Independent market analyst Datamonitor reveals the number of call center agents based in Africa will continue to lead global growth through 2010. In addition, african countries generally compete on lower prices than in Western Europe and North America and provide excellent language capabilities and agent sophistication.
Sounds like that India should be ready if ever the war would break-the outsourcing war that is. As for South Africa, it has potential and with a little bit of improvement, it could set out to achieve their set goal.
