Sin num. 5: Making False Assumptions
In outsourcing, every assumption made should be based on logic and information from research done regarding the subject. Unable to do so would only result to failure in outsourcing.

Before signing an outsourcing contract, companies should first find out if outsourcing would be beneficial for them or it would only lead to failure in their business operations. Companies should be warned that outsourcing is NOT always beneficial for companies. There are times wherein other business strategy should be done instead of joining the outsourcing trend.

Through conducting a study which would determine if outsourcing would be beneficial for your company, false assumptions regarding the outsourcing deal would be minimized. The problem why many outsourcing deals fail is because they view outsourcing as the "instant fix" in every problem. Remember that outsourcing works for companies that know how to work on outsourcing towards their own advantage.
