Sin Num. 2: Expecting Too Much
Companies should remember that outsourcing is a business strategy which might or might not work for a company. The reason why many have experienced failures in their outsourcing deals is that they expect too much.

Outsourcing is not a miraclelinks and it does not work by itself. In order for outsourcing to work, companies must do their share in order for it to work. When it comes to expectations, listing down attainable and real expectation in outsourcing deals should work.

Having too much expectation could kill an outsourcing deal because it is not the answer to all of the problems inside the company. Weighing the advantage and disadvantages of outsourcing would be a good thing to practice in order to realize the "true" benefits which outsourcing brings.
