Self-defense for Female BPO Employees
Working during 2 a.m. in the morning is a typical day for BPO employees in the outsourcing industry. Most of the BPO workers in India are females thus making them more prone to attacks when going to work for their graveyard shift.

In order to solve this problem, the call centrelinks Association of India (CCAI) has proposed to give self-defense lessons for women BPO employees in the outsourcing industry. CCAI mentioned that their project of training women employees in unarmed combat would start very soon.

Deepak Kapoor, chief spokesperson for CCAI said that this plan was the result of the meetings done between CCAI, outsourcing industry experts, and police officials. BPO employees are said to be delighted of the said program.
