Gunman attack unnerves Bangalore outsourcing industry at The Outsourcing Weblog

Last December 28, a gunman attacked the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore, India killing one person and injuring four others. The victims were coming out of a conference in IISc when the attacked happened. Local police have placed the city on high alert and advised outsourcing companies to increase security. Apple to set up center in Bangalore at The Outsourcing Weblog

According to a report, Apple Computer will set up a new technical support center in Bangalore, India. Thy also plan to hire up to 3,000 staff by the end of 2007.
