Searching for Quality Workers

Searching for Quality Workers

Looking for qualified and worthwhile outsourcing workers are hard for different outsourcing destinations even thought most of these places are stating that they have enough pool for such endeavor. The real skill here is knowing where to look for these people.

Out of 100 applicants who are vying for a call center job, most of them would definitely not get the job. Here is my own prediction in this kind of situation:

50% – failed
40% – for training
10% – hired

This is the reality when it comes to the outsourcing business. Though that is the case, there is still hope because most people in these places are "trainable" which means that most of them are still able to absorb the different skills needed for the job.

As I've said people, it's all about strategy.

I have had plenty of experience hiring workers in the Philippines. Even though the Philippines workers tend to have accents, less severe than workers in India, it’s true… most applicants are not immediately hire-able. Most require training. Perhaps even less than 10% of the applicants are ‘job ready’. Anyways, as a rough estimate, I agree with this statistic… although I would say, if anything, there’s even less qualified people to do the jobs.
