Quality in Outsourcing
It is important to evaluate the different criteria when it comes to outsourcing because it makes sure that the company as well as the outsourcing vendor are meeting their goals. Aside from that, it is also needed to ensure that the operations is producing a reasonable or Quality outputs.
One way of ensuring quality is to establish a good QA (Quality Analysis) in companies. Here are the things which should be prioritized by that department:
a. Ensure that the process is followed
b. Evaluate performance of employees
c. Give feedback or coaching if necessary
d. Suggest other ways of having a more speedy process

One of the points i believe you have missed out is both parties ( the outsourcing vendor and the outside company) should have a clear idea about their roles and deliverables.
