Prudential UK Joins the Outsourcing Hype

Prudential, the second-largest insurance provider in UK recently signed an outsourcing deal with Capita, a support services firm. The newly signed outsourcing deal is part of Prudential's plan to cut on operational cost as well as in their "overhaul" plan.

According to the outsourcing deal, Capita would administration services and a range of life and pension sales. nick Prettejohn, the Chief Executive for Prudential UK remarked that the newly signed outsourcing deal would help the firm in providing continued employment and maintain their high-standard of customer service-something that the insurance firm is proud of.

Prior to the signing of the outsourcing deal, Prudential had announced their plan to close three of their UK sites and the cutting or transferring of more than 700 jobs to offshoring destination like India.
