Even though recent study suggests that Philippines is fast emerging as the next outsourcing hub and the next India, I think India would still remain the preferred destination for outsourcing for many companies simply because it's a tried and tested destination.

It looks like this news has too much optimism. Nowadays the level or quality of English proficiency in Philippines is very low compared to India or Singapore. Many college graduates doesn't even know how English very well. You know why, the previous government opted to be too nationalist by propagating tagalog as business language. I hope the Philippine government or the Filipinos as whole wakes up if it wants to realized this ambition.
