Pharma R&D in China: Growing
research and Development (R&D) in the pharmaceutical industry is important because it aids in the discovery of new drugs which could be the cure for terminal diseases.

This reason could attribute to the fact that most pharmaceutical companies turn to outsourcing. Contrary to reports stating that China is the leader of pharma R&D, a recent research showed that he US makes up 32.4% of global R&D and China only equates for only a 13.4% share. Though statistics have shown that US is still the number one destination for pharma R&D, the growth was done mostly in China's part.

This means that more and more companies are turning to China as an outsourcing destination for pharmaceutical R&D. China, on the other hand is not closing its door for this possibility. As for me, I'll just wait for next year's research report to see if this trend continues.
