This acquisition expands Perot's outsourced engineering services for the automotive, manufacturing and industrial services segments. The company can now provide highly skilled, fully-trained engineers delivering complete product engineering services at a faster rate and lower cost.
Dave Sanders, Perot Systems vice president and Commercial Solutions group leader, said, "eServ is an excellent strategic fit for Perot Systems because of the company's depth of industry expertise, customer base, and the strong cultural fit. "We will now be able to provide high quality, cost-effective outsourced engineering services in addition to our range of applications, consulting, infrastructure and business process solutions."
James Richmond, chief executive officer of eServ, stated, "eServ is very proud of its achievements, which includes an average annual revenue growth rate in excess of 50 percent since our inception in 1999. By joining the Perot Systems family, we can bring our customers end-to-end business solutions, and add a global dimension to our capabilities to achieve faster time-to-market, reduced costs and increased revenue for our existing and future customers."

This Perot is an opportunist. He had a publicity held company Electronic Data Systems more than a decade ago. He sold it for billions of Dollars. Then he ran for the President of USA under some obsure party. Now he is into buying Companies. I certainly hope he looses a ton of money to shake up his confidence in himself.

Too bad Satish does not know the history of EDS. Review the company history at www.eds.com before slamming Ross. There are still people at EDS who remember the Perot days and Ross' great leadership!

Consider the source, obviously Mr. Bhardwaj is more interested in outsourcing solutions that are going offshore to perhaps say: India ? As Mr. Priest has said, you should do your homework before slamming Perot - even if his business leadership doesn't necessarily align with your personal financial interests.

PerotSystems lied to the employees that were outsourced to them at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island. The higher paid American Staff were treated shabily. Perotsystems were forcing American workers out to replace them with lower paid Indian staff to increase Perot profits. I was in management at Perot and it's all about Perot profits. The customer be damned. Long Island Jewish Memorial Hospital hated Perot and threw them out.
