Payday Loans Outsourcing Debts

Payday Loans Outsourcing Debts

When the global economy took a nose dive my husband and I both lost a job in the same year. This was a complete disaster. I took out a couple of payday loans through a local company to help us make ends meet. They were helpful in a very rough patch. Unfortunately I made a bit of a mistake when it came time to pay them back.

I was a few days late on the payment when I began receiving calls from a man who barely spoke English and couldn't even explain to me why he was calling. After a few attempts we finally established the fact that he was out to collect a debt for my unpaid payday loans.

I was a little amazed that such a small business would outsource their collection work but this is becoming more and more normal. Even small businesses are getting into the habit of outsourcing work. The internet has provided so many opportunities for telecommuting that outsourcing telemarketing and debt collection work has become nearly synonymous with overseas operations.

This isn't going to change anytime soon so it might as well be expected. What needs to be done however is that as business owners and consumers we require better training for outsourced jobs. It is also important to consider telecommuting from rural areas as a method for outsourcing big city jobs. Hiring workers in lower economic areas of one's own country is a type of outsourcing that can be effective and provide higher quality results.
