Before outsourcing recruitment tasks seems like a big risk in the corporate world because these people would be part of the company and most managers would prefer to have hands on decision regarding this matter.
Nowadays, many companies are resulting into outsourcing their recruitment. This article was able to point out the reason on why companies are now into this practice. Here is an excerpt:
Two particular issues stood out. First, all businesses seemed to have difficulty in recruiting and attracting candidates. This was compounded by the fact that candidates who were offered jobs often turned the roles down. Second, no process was in place to capture data about candidates.
