Outsourcing Satisfaction

In continuation with my last post, most IT leaders remarked their unsatisfied experience in terms of innovation in outsourced it functions. Here are the reasons which was mentioned in the survey:

54% - cited cultural or communication issues
37% - lack of skills
32% - internal resistance
30% - internal budget restraints

Aside from that, the survey also revealed the following information:

Three quarters (76%) of technology executives who responded to the survey said that they believe in-house activities contribute the most to IT or IT-enabled innovation. Only 22% said that they believed offshore/captive activities contribute the most to IT or IT-enabled innovation.

If IT outsourcing would improve, there is a possibility that the satisfaction level of these companies would improve.
