Outsourcing Publishing-related tasks is a normal deal in India but it looks like this is not the end of this practice.
Aside from outsourcing these tasks, publishing companies who are practicing outsourcing are now expressing interest in India as a market place for possible customers who are interested in the books and other publication materials which are now being outsourced.
Jack Romanos, President & CEO of Simon & Schuster remarked that "India is one of the fastest growing English language markets and a world class economic dynamo with a highly literate populace. It shows the relevance of India in the eyes of all international publishers."
This kind of change in the outsourcing scene just shows that outsourcing could bring more than just jobs. It could actually pave the way for further development and the recognition of one's potential.
