Outsourcing is Like Buying
Filed in archive Outsourcing Issues on June 16, 2007
Buying is something which should not be compared with outsourcing because outsourcing is much more than shelving out money for a certain commodity.
First of all, there is the money factor. When purchasing, you just have to pay once and that's it. In outsourcing, it is much more than that. There is the initial cost when searching for a perfect outsourcing vendor and once you finally found your outsourcing vendor, there other expenses to be considered so that you would also have a fruitful outsourcing deal. If you think that outsourcing would automatically save your financial troubles in an instant-you are wrong!
Though it could cut cost in the long run, you must also prepare a certain amount to ensure that you would be able to maximize the outsourcing returns. There is also the security protection to consider when outsourcing. Contrary to beliefs that outsourcing means saving a lot-that is not the case.
