Outsourcing Faith
Who says religion and business can't mix? A recent news shows us that even faith-related tasks are now being outsourced. Usual religious services are now available through the use of phone and Internet.

One of the reasons identified behind the outsourcing of these religion-related tasks was because of the shortage in priests and other religious leaders which were supposed to be the one administering these activities.

The shortage of Christian priests in the West prompts Indian priests to do the task themselves by celebrating the mass. On the other hand, there are websites which offers "virtual worship" in the Hindu pilgrimage centers. Aside from that, devotees also have the option to offer pujas (a special prayer) and submit prasad (sweets, fruit or flowers offered to the deity). These options are available once you've given your credit card details.

Personally, I think this just shows that religion incorporates business tactics in their ways.
