Outsourcing Don'ts

Another way to ensure that companies would be able to gain in their outsourcing transactions is to gain knowledge of the DON'Ts in Outsourcing.

Through learning the things which are not supposed to be done in outsourcing, companies would be able to stay away from these mistakes and learn valuable lessons from it.

The article written by Rachael King entitled Outsourcing with Confidence mentioned the different don'ts in outsourcing and the list includes the following:

Forget about the time - time zones are a reality in outsourcing and should therefore be always considered.
Give it all away - Not everything should be outsourced and the tasks which are should be considered carefully.
Expect instant results - outsourcing is not a miracle worker, results take time and not instantly.
Pick the wrong partner - As mentioned, outsourcing should be considered carefully and this includes choosing the right outsourcing partner.
Jump the gun - Know what you want in an outsourcing transaction and do not commit if you have not read carefully the outsourcing terms.
