Outsourcing Destinations Team Up
Two of the top most outsourcing destination, India and the Philippines decided that the best strategy in the outsourcing business is to team up rather than fight each other.
The teaming up of these outsourcing locations was instigated by the Philippines' Business Processing Association of the Philippines (BPAP) and India's National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM). The agreement signed between these two organizations was aimed to develop seven strategic areas.
These strategic areas include the following:
a. strategic communications
b. geographic risk mitigation
c. shared best practices and adherence to international standards
d. data security and privacy
e. workforce development
f. collaboration and cooperation
g. infrastructure improvement

Good development for the two countries. I just hope the guidelines in terms of benefits for each country are clearly delineated so as to avoid controversy later on.

This is great news indeed! Although it would be nice to have a healthy competition every now and then, we need to work as one if we want to save this global economy from sinking any further. Cooperation + Collaboration = Success.
