Outsourcing selected journalism tasks seems like a growing industry in the world of journalism. BBC, one of the biggest names in the said industry recently announced that they would outsource some of their tasks to India.

Though BBC have joined the outsourcing move, it would not outsource their main journalism tasks. BBC remarked that they would outsource their "non-focus" tasks such as accounting and financial services to India. By outsourcing these tasks, BBC predicts that they would save around 20 billion pounds in the next ten years.

I could say that BBC's move would lead the company to achieve their goal and at the same time, Save Money along the way. Provided, of course if BBC made a wise "outsourcing decision" meaning that they have analyzed everything in their outsourcing contract.
