Outsource Partners International, Inc. (OPI), reaches major employee milestone
Outsource Partners International, Inc. (OPI), the largest BPO firm dedicated solely to finance and accounting functions, has reached a milestone with more than 1,000 employees worldwide.
Kishore Mirchandani, president of OPI, said, "Achieving this milestone demonstrates the confidence that our clients place in OPI's capabilities. We take great pride in our employees, a high percentage of which are either U.S. Certified Public Accountants or Indian Chartered Accountants."
OPI's 1,000th employee is a female Chartered Accountant with nine years of practical work experience. She is currently working in the company's new shared service center in Kochi, India. She supervises a team of employees performing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance tests for a major company.
Mirchandani added, "OPI's rapid growth provides considerable opportunity for our employees to advance as they pursue their careers in accounting. Those advancement opportunities enabled us to keep employee turnover down to 6 percent during 2005 – one of the lowest in the business process outsourcing industry."
