Outsourcing News

The research which surveyed 100 senior UK executives showed that 81 percent of companies plan to increase offshore outsourcing over the next three years. Conversely, only 4 percent of the respondents believed that offshore outsourcing would see a decrease in activity.
In addition, the research revealed that many companies are now taking a global view of sourcing as they reassess which processes would be best to offshore, nearshore or onshore.
Duncan Aitchison, managing director of TPI said, "Our survey results clearly indicate that there is very little disillusionment with offshore outsourcing. However, there is a general shift towards more sophisticated sourcing strategies as the global sourcing market comes of age."
