Offshore Outsourcing of Legal Services
The outsourcing industry has certainly evolved from outsourcing business related tasks to KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) ones. One of these KPO tasks is legal services.
In fact, Fox Mandal Little, India's largest law firm recently announced their move to team up with outsourcing firm Centric in order to strengthen their goal to form a legal process outsourcing (LPO) industry in India.
Legal outsourcing is certainly a far cry from regular outsourced tasks because it requires in-depth knowledge on laws (both in India and from the Origin of the work) and a keen sense for details.
Let us just us hope that this type of outsourcing would be met with success.
