Northgate Information Solutions has signed a seven-year, £16 million plus outsourcing contract with boots.

Under the agreement, Northgate will provide outsourcing payroll services and core HR systems for Boots. The company will merge Boots current HR and payroll systems into one database using ResoureLink, a fully integrated and web-enabled HR solution.

Chris Stone, chief executive of Northgate, said, "We are delighted to be working with such a prestigious company as Boots. This contract further supports Northgate's position as a tier 1 provider of HR and payroll systems and is further evidence of our success in the business process outsourcing market."
