Nortel Keen to Invest More in Indian Outsourcing

Nortel expressed its interest to invest more in Indian outsourcing through equity partnerships or joint ventures.

Nortel CEO Bill Owen said, "We would look at buying, having equity partnerships or joint ventures with Indian companies in the field of e-governance.

Nortel Managing Director Ashoka Valia added, "We are looking to expand our offices in Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata and Chennailinks. We will also help the growth of the business of our Nortel keen to invest more in India suppliers."

The networking company plans to expand its presence for better competition and business in the Indian outsourcing field.
