Many IT firms are now moving away from the conventional method of having only a Single outsourcing provider.

This was the result revealed by the latest survey done through 100 global 100 CIOs. Statistics from the survey also showed that 45% of the respondents revealed that they are in favor of utilizing multiple outsourcing vendors in order to distribute the company's project requirements. Only 17% revealed preference for single providers.

I guess the result just shows that more and more firms are exploring the benefits of outsourcing as well as determining which method would work for them.
