Just when you thought that outsourcing has exhausted every possible avenue in the business arena, here comes mortgage outsourcing.

Due to the rising interest rates and unstable property prices, homeowners as well as mortgage lenders are now experiencing difficult times. Homeowners are having a hard time in paying their dues and in turn, mortgage lenders are also having a difficult time in maintaining their business.

The solution for mortgage lenders? Mortgage outsourcing. "Big Lenders" or the major players in the mortgage business are now utilizing outsourcing in their business through having their own "captive" operations or planning outsourcing deals through outsourcing vendors.

Whatever the case may be, many experts expressed their view that mortgage could be considered as something that is "ripe for offshoring/outsourcing".
