Medical Representative Outsourcing

The medicine field has certainly worked its way to make sure that they benefit from outsourcing.

In my past blog entries, I mentioned the increasing number of pharmaceutical companies outsourcing most of their tasks to offshoring destinations such as India and the Philippines. I've also recently mentioned the increasing trend in medicine treatment which is medical tourism.

Another thing which we could add on the list could be the outsourcing of medical representatives done by pharmaceutical companies. The reason for this move? Saving cost and to become more competitive. The article entitled Outsourcing radar picks up medical representatives revealed that:

Pharma companies are testing waters in new states and are launching products in relatively distant pockets through third parties.

I believe that outsourcing in the medical field is just beginning and there is definitely room for other developments which could improve the whole medical community.
