NASSCOM President Kiran Karnik recently said that Indian IT and IT enabled Services exports from India are seeing a good traction with an expected growth rate of 30-35 percent in 2005 to 2006.

In addition, with an estimated 60 to 66 percent of the $200 billion global market for infrastructure outsourcing that can be sent offshore, Karnik added that this is "an opportunity for India". He said, "Even the multinationals who win large deals in infrastructure management will move work to India."

Forrester Country Manager, India Sudin Apte said, "The exportlinks of infrastructure management services from India has been growing at the rate of more than 100 per cent per annum and this growth is expected to continue as the size of the market is 200 billion dollars and the Indian share is just 450 million dollars."
