Is Outsourcing Profitable?

Most companies outsource because of the benefits which it brings in the company. These benefits enable outsourcing to prosper as an industry. Some other reasons for the growth in outsourcing would be cost benefits, leveraging benefits of scale and cost arbitrage.

Outsourcing countries that are in the top of the game like India, China, Philippines and the following have different advantages to offer when it comes to outsourcing. These factors include low labour costs and abundant supply of skilled manpower.

Though that is the case, the profitability of outsourcing is still in question. Personally. I believe that outsourcing is profitable provided that there is budget involved in this kind of business deal. If not, the profits would only return as failed investment.
