Most definitely. Some matters are more intricate than others and hence cannot be outsourced effectively. In terms of confidentiality and security, most of the US based legal outsourcing firms have taken measures legally, physically and technology based to protect their client information.
There need to be regulations to enforce some of that. But once these are in place, I do not see any huge barriers barring the learning curve.
