Legal Outsourcing is one of the newest fields in outsourcing. A recent research report showed that Indian law firms could earn as much as 4.7 million dollars in terms of revenues in the year 2011 if the country would strengthen legal outsourcing.

Legal outsourcing pertains mostly in providing legal and paralegal services to different US law firms and firms. In order to reach the amount mentioned by the study, founders of legal outsourcing in India must tap into mid-sized firms and top law firms into having an outsourcing deal.

Though many people are now changing their attitudes towards outsourcing, most people still remains negative to legal outsourcing because such matters are "too delicat" to be outsourced and the tasks too complicated to be handled overseas.
