Is it Halloween Yet?

Here's a fun list of outsourcing horror stories from the annals of InfoWorld. While we can all get a little snicker at the misfortunes of others, the article contains some important lessons - lessons that in this day and age of rampant cost cutting pressure could prove valuable in the avoidance of costly errors.

Of course, there isn't an analogous article - Top 10 Outsourcing Successes - that is easy to find. Why? Because the squeaky wheel always gets the oil, and successful, happy customers don't tend to squeak.

So as Halloween approaches, ask yourself - are you afraid to open the door on your outsourcing? What will jump out at you and scare you and your shareholders? Can you fix it now - before it becomes one of next years' horror stories?
