Is India Slowing Down?

I have not yet updated myself with the progress (or not?) that India had experienced for this year. This could be the reason why I was a bit surprised upon reading this blog entry written by Ann All.

According to the article, a number of companies which includes AT&T and Dell are experiencing a decline in terms of their outsourced deals because of the deteriorating quality of work provided by India. This is the reason why these companies are now looking for possible opportunities in other countries such as Jamaica, Costa Rica, and the Philippines.

Personally, I believe that India is now experiencing some "slow time" in outsourcing considering that they have not yet improved some of the sore points in their outsourcing industry. If they would not be able to fix this problem immediately, then they could really face a tough time in maintaining their number one position.
