It looks like every industry is joining the outsourcing bandwagon and this time, the insurance industry is joining the game.
In a recent study entitled BPO and Sourcing Trends in Insurance (Customer Focus) done by Dublin-based consultants Research and Markets revealed that insurance companies are looking for opportunities to expand their businesses as well as enhancements in the way they operate through outsourcing.
Here is an excerpt in the said research:
The horizontal processes such as HRO, F&A and CRM continue to grow significantly despite their dominance in terms of absolute usage. However the fastest growth going forward will be in the industry specific processes such as claims processing and policy administration
I guess the insurance industry is pretty confident that outsourcing would work best in their business goals.
