Forty percent of Infosys Technologies' revenue now comes from infrastructure management services (IMS) and independent validation services as infrastructure outsourcing gains ground worldwide.
Kris Gopalakrishnan, COO and Deputy Managing Director of Infosys, said, "The overall market size for IMS is between $100-150 billion and the revenue from IMS is $55 billion. Revenues from Indian export-oriented offshore infrastructure management services stand at $450 million currently."
Priti Rao, Head of IMS, Infosys, said, "Infosys revenue from IMS during the last quarter was $100 million. Eighty percent of our IMS is offshore. With the growing demand, I see Indian companies doing $1 billion next year."
The Indian-based company offers IMS through an integrated set of processes and enabling technologies, designed to utilize a client's IT infrastructure as business assets.
