Infosys Chairman Steps Down

N.R. Narayana Murthy, one of India's most known entrepreneur announced during his 60th b-day his plans to step down as chairman of Infosys.
Infosys, considered as one of the founders in offshore software outsourcing was founded by Mr. Murthy by a 250-dollar capital is now earning more than 20 billion dollars yearly and employs more than 58,000 people located in two dozen countries.
His plans to resign when he turned 60 was announced beforehand. Though that is the case, he also announced that he would still be monitor his company by being a non-executive chairman or a chief mentor. The CEO position on the other hand would go to Nandan M. Nilekani.
Infosys Technologies, recognized as India's second largest software exporter remains as an inspiration to India's outsourcing industry and to the whole outsourcing industry as well.
