HCL Technologies Ltd. (HCL) has signed a five-year, $50 million outsourcing agreement with California-based Autodesk Inc.

Under the agreement, HCL will provide offshore application and data center services for the software and services company. HCL will handle application administration, software configuration management, monitoring, maintenance, technical support, and general infrastructure management.

According to HCL, application and data center services for Autodesk's business applications will come from vendors such as SAP AG, Informatica Corp. and Siebel Systems Inc.
